FoodSwing Leads Industry During National Salsa Month
April 30, 2007 -- FoodSwing is a private-label premium quality food manufacturer located in Northumberland. The company offers complete project management from original concept through manufacturing and finished product delivery. FoodSwing produces both shelf-stable acidified glass products, like marinara sauce, salad dressings, barbeque sauce, and sandwich spreads, and aseptic-packaged broths and soups.
High quality ingredients and precise production standards are very important to FoodSwing and to the company's clients. The company is USDA and HAACP certified and also produces QAI Organic Certified and K of K Kosher products. The company's clients are exclusive restaurants in the metropolitan New York area and major supermarket chains across the country (including Weis Markets).
One of FoodSwing's specialties are gourmet salsas. The company is the primary producer of a full line of salsas for Rosa Mexicano Kitchens, a retail division of Rosa Mexicano Restaurants. Varieties produced in Northumberland include Tomato Chipotle, Pasilla de Oaxaca, Verde de Habanero, Salsa de Pina, and others still in FoodSwing's research and development lab.
